پاتریس کارترون بعنوان سرمربی جدید تیم سپاهان انتخاب شد

مدیرعامل باشگاه فولاد مبارکه سپاهان اعلام‌ کرد: «پاتریس کارترون» فرانسوی بعنوان سرمربی جدید تیم فوتبال این باشگاه انتخاب شد.

درباره پاتریس کارترون:

پاتریس کارترون (فرانسوی: Patrice Carteron؛ زادهٔ ۳۰ ژوئیهٔ ۱۹۷۰) بازیکن سابق و مربی فوتبال اهل فرانسه است. وی هم‌اکنون سرمربی باشگاه فوتبال سپاهان است.

از باشگاه‌هایی که در آن بازی کرده است می‌توان به باشگاه فوتبال رن، باشگاه فوتبال المپیک لیون، باشگاه فوتبال ساندرلند، باشگاه فوتبال کن، باشگاه ورزشی الاهلی مصر، و باشگاه فوتبال سن-اتین اشاره کرد.

The CEO of Foolad Mobarakeh Sepahan Club announced: “Patrice Carteron” from France has been appointed as the new head coach of the football team.

Ahmad Yusefzadeh added during a press conference on Tuesday evening at Naqsh-e Jahan Stadium in Isfahan: Since the day of “José Morais’” resignation as the former head coach, we have been looking for the right decision to avoid harming the team, so we considered both domestic and foreign coaches. However, most Iranian coaches were busy, leading us to focus on a foreign coach.

He continued, stating: This head coach will separate from Al-Sailiya professionally and according to Qatar’s protocols to avoid any legal issues.

The CEO of Sepahan went on to say: The administrative process for this will be completed in the next day or two, and we will have him on board.

Yusefzadeh noted: Fans should not worry about the new coach’s contract with Al-Sailiya in Qatar, as there is no problem in this regard, and he will join Sepahan.

He emphasized: Selecting Iranian assistants who are capable of being part of Sepahan’s coaching staff and securing the future of the team is not easy; when Sepahan signed Morais, they suggested hiring an Iranian coach, and the same is on the agenda for the new head coach.

Regarding the departure of José Morais, the CEO of Sepahan stated: This matter needs to be discussed in a separate program, but we did not witness any side issues regarding his separation from Sepahan; overall, this coach believed he could no longer help Sepahan.

Yusefzadeh, referring to the new turf installation at Naqsh-e Jahan Stadium, clarified: The game against Persepolis in the Premier League will be held at this stadium.

The CEO of Sepahan added: Other football fields are under renovation and improvement, and the work is currently underway.

Yusefzadeh pointed out: We’ve even planned for a backup stadium for some matches when this venue is not ready to host.

The CEO of Sepahan Club discussed completing the sports infrastructure around Naqsh-e Jahan Stadium, adding: We have designed a comprehensive plan for 170 hectares around the stadium, including a cycling track and swimming pool, which has also been approved by the provincial sports and youth administration.

According to Youssefzadeh, the Foolad Mobarakeh club is in the process of financing this project, and completing the cycling track and swimming pool at the stadium is one of the first actions in this regard.

The infrastructure for women’s entry to the Naqsh-e Jahan Stadium is being completed.

He clarified about the video assistant referee (VAR): correspondence has been made with the federation, and it has been requested that after securing financial resources, a complete set of this equipment be purchased.

The CEO of Sepahan club continued: the infrastructure for women’s entry to Naqsh-e Jahan Stadium and the seats is being modified, and our plan is for families, not just women, to attend the stadium.

Youssefzadeh mentioned the enhancement and support for other club teams like cycling and handball, which have experience in international competitions: every financial year, the club’s budget is defended in the board of directors of Foolad Mobarakeh, and those sports that have economic justification and talented individuals will continue their operations and receive budget allocations.

Patrice Carteron is considered one of the well-known and experienced coaches.

He led the Mali national team to a third-place finish in the Africa Cup of Nations. Later, he became champion of the CAF Champions League in 2015 with Mazembe Congo. Other achievements of Carteron with Mazembe include winning the Congolese domestic league and securing second place in the FIFA Club World Cup in 2015.

Carteron was the runner-up in the 2018 CAF Champions League with Al-Ahly in Egypt. The 54-year-old French coach also experienced winning the African Super Cup in 2019 with Raja Casablanca in Morocco, adding this title to his collection of honors. Winning the African Super Cup in 2020 and the Egyptian Super Cup in the same year, this time with Zamalek, are among his other achievements.
