According to Jahan Sport News, the taekwondo competitions of the 10th Deaf Asian Games, hosted by Malaysia, took place today, Tuesday, in both individual and team categories, where our national athletes secured two bronze medals.

In the individual competition, Morteza Sefat first faced an opponent from China, but after losing to him, he couldn’t achieve any success in this event.

Maryam Khodavandeh, the Olympic and world champion in poomsae, claimed the third place and won a bronze medal. In the team event as well, the Iranian poomsae team, composed of Maryam Khodavandeh and Morteza Sefat, finished third and took home the bronze medal from this edition of the games.
