۲ اتومبیل‌ران کشورمان با حضور در یکی از معتبرترین رویدادهای جهانی این رشته به دنبال راهیابی به رالی بزرگ «داکار» هستند که تاکنون هیچ ایرانی در آن حضور نداشته است.

Two of our country’s drivers are aiming to qualify for the prestigious Dakar Rally, an event where no Iranian has participated so far.

The final stage of the Baha Cup with the presence of Kiarash Rafi’i and Hamid Salimi from Iran along with 49 top drivers from around the world will take place in the Dubai desert from December 1st to 3rd this year. These two Iranian athletes managed to participate in the final stage in the UAE with special support from the Motorcycle and Automobile Federation and the approval of their licenses.

The Baha Cup is one of the most esteemed global motorsport events in desert racing, recognized as a qualifying platform for entering the most prestigious competition in this field, which is the Dakar Rally. So far, no Iranian driver has managed to participate in this major event.

Kiarash Rafi’i said, “With the support of the federation and our high preparedness, we’re looking to make a historical moment for Iranian motorsport.”

He also thanked Maziyar Nazemi, the president of the Motorcycle and Automobile Federation, and added, “I’m glad the conditions for participating in this global event have been met. We aim to earn a significant honor for Iran in this 394-kilometer journey. This success could be a major step in elevating the status of Iranian motorsport on the global stage and pave the way for Iranians to participate in the most prestigious international competitions like the Dakar Rally.”
