The head of the football federation said: “Revenue must go back to football to help develop this sport.”

Mehdi Taj stated on Tuesday at the electoral assembly of North Khorasan football: “If we can secure sponsorship revenues from the sidelines and broadcasting revenues, then we can help develop football in the provinces.”

He pointed out that there are many criticisms in football, saying, “Some criticisms are fair, while others are not justifiable.”

Taj added: “We need to respond to valid criticisms in football.”

He mentioned that the process for obtaining professional football licenses in the country has started, saying, “Recently, seven clubs received their professional licenses from the AFC.” The president of the football federation further stated that “two women’s clubs have also succeeded in obtaining professional licenses.”

Taj noted: “When a club obtains a professional license, its standards and financial statements are established.”

He added: “After obtaining a professional license, clubs settle their debts and a cap is placed on contracts.”

Referring to the standardization of stadiums, Taj reminded us: “Soon, we will have 16 standard stadiums approved by FIFA, equipped with ample lighting and other necessary facilities.”

The results of the national team are satisfactory.

He said: “Although there are criticisms of the national football team, the team’s results have been satisfactory and have pleased the public.”

Taj added: “Voting for the president of the provincial football association comes with trust and expectation, and we must strive to assist football.”

The head of the football federation said: “The development of beach football and futsal is cost-effective and it’s essential for provinces to invest in these sports.”

He continued: “All countries invest heavily in football, and we shouldn’t fall behind.”

Taj reminded us: “Industries should support football and engage in social responsibility alongside sports.”

He stated: “Representatives and governors must advocate for sports rights from industries and eliminate restrictions.”

At the conclusion of the electoral assembly for the presidency of the North Khorasan football association, Hossein Jafarzadeh was elected as the head of this provincial sports body, receiving the maximum votes.
