کول پالمر چلسی که فصل گذشته با درخشش استثنایی‌اش نگاه‌ها را به خود جلب کرد، حالا به ستاره اصلی آبی‌های لندن تبدیل شده است. بسیاری از کارشناسان او را حتی ستاره اول فوتبال انگلیس می‌دانند.

امروز پیش از بازی مقابل نیوکسل، تصویری از کفش ویژه او منتشر شد که جلب توجه کرد. روی این کفش، دو اموجی سرما (اشاره به لقب کولد پالمر)، پرچم انگلیس و پرچم دیگری دیده می‌شود که کمتر کسی آن را می‌شناخت. این پرچم متعلق به کشور سنت کیتس اند نویس در دریای کارائیب است؛ جایی که خانواده پدری پالمر ریشه دارند. این کشور کوچک با مساحت ۲۶۱ کیلومتر مربع و جمعیت ۴۸ هزار نفری، یکی از کوچک‌ترین کشورهای جهان محسوب می‌شود.

The 22-year-old Englishman, who left Manchester City for Chelsea in the summer of 2023, is now famous for both his elegant playing style and calm personality. His unique goal celebrations earned him the nickname “Cold Palmer”, which has become a defining identity for him in football.
