The Iranian climbing team wrapped up its participation in the Asian Youth and Junior Championships with 2 golds and 2 silvers.

In the ongoing youth and junior climbing competitions in Asia, Sara Zareat Zadeh and Aeinaz Mohammadi secured sixth and eighth places respectively in the final stage of the youth speed category.

Thus, our climbing team concluded its journey in these competitions with 4 medals in total across the youth and junior categories, which included two golds by “Sarina Ghafari” and two silvers by “Mahdisah Hamidnejad” in the “Lead” and “Bouldering” events.

These competitions took place from November 15 to 18 in Jamshedpur, India.

Amin Tavakoli Nasab, Arin Amiri, Youssef Ardamah, Mohammad Reza Torlani, Amir Abbas Aideloui, Sara Zareat Zadeh, Sarina Ghafari, Mahdisah Hamidnejad, Sara Moghaddami, and Aeinaz Mohammadi were the members of the Iranian team participating in these competitions.

Abdolreza Naghibzadeh (team manager), Reza Chashi (head coach), and Zahra Bahramian (women’s coach) also accompanied the athletes on this trip.
