La Liga’s competition committee announced the date for the postponed match between Real Madrid and Valencia.

The organizing committee of the Spanish club football league stated that the postponed match between Real Madrid and Valencia will take place on January 3rd at 10:30 PM.

Although Real Madrid had previously requested that the game against Valencia be held on January 5th, this request was not accepted.

The two teams were originally set to face each other on November 2nd at Valencia’s home ground, Mestalla, but heavy rains and devastating floods in the city of Valencia led the Spanish Football Federation to agree to the host’s request to postpone the match. Additionally, three days of public mourning were declared, and all sporting events in the area were postponed.

Currently, Real Madrid is in second place in the La Liga standings with 33 points, while Valencia is struggling in 19th place with just 10 points.
